Spoilers La'An - what's going to happen?

  • Thread starter Discovery McDiscoveryFace
  • Start date
In the season 1 finale, which was also in an "incorrect" timeline, they went out of their way to imply that Una was still in prison for lying about being genetically engineered and that was a clear misdirection.

And they have also said that they had to make several changes to the script after they found out they were getting a fifth season in order to not spoil what they had planned.
True but then she was arrested straight after so it did partially come to fruition. Plus as has been discussed lots of things could have made Kirk react in such a way. And I do admit they can freely do whatever with La'an and ignore it as a timeline change too.

Lots of possibilities for next year.

Christina all but said that her input was used for the character's fate. I don't really see her giving her character something ominous and a working actor would be crazy to tell the writers to kill them off (Leonard Nimoy found out how quickly he regretted that over 40 years ago, and to some extent Bill Shatner too even though Generations wasn't Shatner's idea)

I don't think La'an will die. And I don't think she'll have that terrible a fate, at least, not from La'an's perspective but maybe from Kirk's.

M'Benga: Christine, I'm back on Vulcan doing Vulcan stuff. EVERYONE is talking about T'Pring and Stonn. Like, it's not even a secret. Should we tell Spock?

Chapel: It's not my problem, I'm still engaged to Roger Korby even though he's MIA. But I do want Spock to be happy. When I observe him starting to undergo Pon Farr, I'll make some plomeek soup laced with Protocol 12. Stonn won't last 2 seconds against a roid-raged Spock.

M'Benga: Good heavens Christine, and to think they kicked ME off the Enterprise for allegedly being shady and spiking drinks.

Shes going to die. Kirk and Spock will agree to never speak about her again because its too painful for kirk and the rest of the bridge crew will follow suit. Lol

I assume something ominous happened to Katherine Pulaski since no one ever talks about her again either. Assimilation at Wolf 359 is a good assumption. Picard hated her anyway so I'm sure even as Locutus that influence got the Borg to target her ship for assimilation first.

Actually Dr. Crusher mentioned Pulaski later in the series

I should have put an /s by my comment as the whole Pulaski thing was a parody on the concept of how every SNW character not mentioned in TOS "obviously" had something horrible happen to them.

I was making a joke on how the discovery stayed a secret for a thousand years. No one ever spoke of it again. Obviously not even the engineers. Nothing in the starfleet computers, nothing written down etc. Lol
