i don't see what is to laugh about? it's not too different from Trials and tribblations.

Now imagine Janeways lot Forrest Gump edited into that DS9 episode that was piggybacking the TOS episode...

It happened in comics quite well once. A 90s mini series about Apocolypse piggy backed on a West Coast Avengers Comics form the late 80s, which piggy backed on an early 80s Doctor Strange Comic, who were all stampeding through a 1960's fantastic Four comic.

I'm waiting for the next installment. I might have missed a chapter too in the last 10 years.

O. Or, Back to the Future 2.

That is very cool - Tuvok and the Doc look downright natural.

The Doctor fits right in.

We also clearly need Janeway in Rand's miniskirt. To be complete. :techman:

Maybe that's why women couldn't be Captains? There's no way to sit in the captains chair dignifiedly in one of those tiny skirts. Which really doesn't seem fair for type one personalities looking to run up the ziggeral lickity spit like Number One who kept order under Pike in that unisex pantsuit a darn site more ballsy than Chuckles.

Thanks. :) Yeah, I wanted to get Janeway in there, but like Guy said, those female uniforms didn't lend themselves to the captain's chair. You can see how Harris struggles to keep herself "hidden". ;)

We actually did see several female crew members walking about with pants on. Not many, but a few. I'd expect that if we saw a woman serving as captain in TOS, she'd have sported the pants option (as Barrett did when portraying Number One). There's a thread currently going about the sexist nature of Star Trek... when you see a woman in the TOS uniform, it looks natural from the perspective that women wear skirts/dresses. But from a military perspective it's just all wrong. I can see baring legs for dress uniforms, but for work uniforms pants have to be it.

OH I GET IT!

The Federation went to war with those muggins Kirk fought in Star trek 5 who kept their genitals in their knees.

You'd have to conclude that it would be easier for Ferengi to fight half naked women than it would be for them to fight the fully clothed variety.

I wonder if the klingon girl warriors do the whole cleavage thing for us?
