Voy Least Liked Episode - Season Four

Season Four is a step up in quality. Lots of really good episodes. That being said, there's still a few that I don't like such as Concerning Flight, Random Thoughts and The Gift but I think my least favourite would probably have to be... Day of Honour. Yawn.

Honourable mention for best episode - Message in a Bottle or Waking Moments.

Interestingly enough I love all those episodes that you don't ...

My favourite one, however, would be SCORPION Parts 1 and 2.

RETROSPECT is the one I like less than all the others. I'm not sure I understood the point of this episode. It was about Seven, of course ... But what the creators' intention was with that episode ... no idea.

I'm also not entirely sure what they were trying to say in Retrospect. Rape allegations are often based on false memories? Rape is in the mind? What the fuck?

But it was watchable.

Unforgettable. I always find myself doing something else when that is on. Day of Honor is one of the very few Torres episodes that I like. Demon was a good idea but they didn't think it through.

I 'think' Retrospect was about false memory syndrome which was a newsmaking 'thing' here in the States about that time. People were making accusations against people that had no basis in fact but came about because of bad therapy. I remember one high profile case where the accuser came out and apologized to someone for doing this.

The rest of the season I liked.

"The Gift"
A badly written story, full of holes with an unrealistic storyline made only to get rid of Kes as soon as possible. The guy who wrote it probably wrote it on the toilet after Berman, Braga and Taylor gave him the order to write it.

It was a Chakotay episode. I find him rather boring more often than not. Though oddly enough I enjoyed Unforgettable.

I loved the teaming of Beltran and Madison for "Unforgettable," but I wish it hadn't been for that particular episode. It would've been awesome if she'd been able to be a semi-regular as an occasional love interest for Chakotay, like Vash was for Picard in TNG.

Loved the two together, but the episode was just boring.

The chemistry between the two actors was fine...it just puts me to sleep.

I liked Nemesis.

I love Unforgettable. I thought it was a clever idea to explore why you would fall in love with a person in one circumstance but not fall for them in another.

The race that evolved to be forgotten was a nice way to tell that story (though it did have the plot hole of people not forgetting her the very next day).

Couldn't warm to the Omega Directive stuff, too. For unknown reasons. Maybe that secrecy stuff was too much for my liking.
I liked Living Witness - The Doctor seized the opportunity to put things right. Voyager may not have a Mirror Universe episode. But the behavior of the crew depicted here wrongfully was Mirror Universe like.

This was hard, but I finally went with Vis A Vis, because I absolutely do not recall the episode right now and the title is of no help.

But for me Season 4 is Voyager's last great season, and the best of the Seven Of Nine years, and seems to end Voyager series 1.
