^ I figured if you didn't really want them there, you'd have edited your message or removed the images. No harm in having them there... why not? Everybody has the right to do their own versions of a similar theme.

Changin' the .gif titles in my photobucket probably worked better, though.

It was a mixed message, as you said you weren't going to participate but then still included your images. In all of the avatar contests I've seen, if someone doesn't have an image for a category they simply don't post it. So, I wasn't sure about what you really wanted. After your second message, you still left the images up. And given how we were light on entries this week, I figured it wouldn't hurt to include them. But yeah, if you had broken the image links or said something like "I posted the images just to show what I did, but I still don't want them included", your intention would've been crystal clear. My fault for not contacting you directly to clear up the matter. Sorry...

Saying to exclude them, but then still leaving them up is like saying "yes" but shaking your head "no." It seemed to me you were a little ambivalent about it, but apparently my misinterpretation. Anyway, there's no reason to keep debating this. I apologized for including them. I won't misinterpret your intent for future contests. No hard feelings.

After accidentally traveling back in time to 1969, the Enterprise rescues USAF Captain John Christopher from his crippled fighter jet. The crew struggles to return to their own time, while simultaneously returning Christopher to the Air Force, removing his knowledge of the future, and all record of contact with the Enterprise.

For the next TOS theme, I suggest Guest Stars Again; your favorite guest star who has made more than one appearance on Star Trek (most have just two). This can also be a co-star or special guest. Recommend a split image (one half for each appearance) or animated one.

 

[Admiral Shran]

For Random, I suggest Fictional Air Forces - any depiction of the Air Force on TV or movies.
