In other news, I just realized I'll be on a nine-hour train ride tomorrow, so I won't be around for the closing of the poll. I think I'll be able to drop by on Saturday though.

Gah, I feel kinda bad for voting for myself now, since I tied for second place. At the time I was the only one who had, and I figured anyone who was going to vote likely already did.

I agree with captcalhoun that there's no need to let a voting poll go for a whole week, especially for low-activity avatar contests like we have in this forum. I think four days for entries and three days for voting should be plenty of time.
