No doubt I realized this when creating the poll, yet I still wanted the Dauntless class included ('cause I think it is a sleek design, and it is my poll), which is why I qualified the question with the words "regardless of in-universe reality."

^^ to clear up confusion, all Starfleet ships commanded by J.T. Kirk (TOS - STVI, then STXI +) are lumped together as "Constitution-class" as far as this poll is concerned...
