Groo should be a movie star/He's suited for the role by far.
Movie makers are just Groo's kind/They're certainly both slow of mind.
But Mark and studios will fight/O'er royalties and legal rights.
And it's a reasonable bet/That Groo somehow destroys the set.
So though it would be peachy-keen/For Groo to be seen on the screen,
It may not happen. We'll rail, and rant./Just try not to say "mendicant."

1) Iron Fist. Loved the whole origin story of Danny growing up in Kun Lun, excellent mythology. Trouble is it will read like a remake of "Forbidden Kingdom" or something, but when it came out in the 70's it was a really nice take.
2) Spiderman 2099. Would be an increadible sci fi, futuristic, corporation taking over the world dystopia story, the orgin and powers were tweaked just right.
3) Adam Warlock. Obviously thinking of Starlin's run, Gamorra, Pip the Troll, Thanos, Star-Trek style space ships and galaxy-spanning empires. Soul gems and Infinity Gauntlets. Oh, yeah. This could be big. Bigger. Biggest.

1. Doom 2009- this was one of the last comics i truly enjoyed. i'm not exactly sure how this would translate to a movie, but just the fact that this one was included in the poll makes me happier than a pig in shit.
2. Spider-Man 2099- imo, this is the best SM book of the last 20 years and would translate awesome to a movie. how i miss the 2099 line... except x-men, that book was awful.

I definitely don't want another Punisher movie, because that character wears out pretty quickly (yeah, I loved him for a while, then I started seeing how 2-dimensional and generic he really is).
Now, if there was a poll for DC characters, I'd go berserk with votes.
