Since a big part of the episode is about the crew trying to learn more about Malcolm, and seeing as we've never done a theme about Malcolm (after checking the list of contests), why not make it about him?

Regarding the Plomeek. It only grows in the spring on the fields of K'ashar. The rest of the year it would be broth from frozen Plomeek and who would want that?
