Vixen does Creative Couplings or: They didn't start the fire

Re: Vixen does Creative Couplings or: They didn't start the

^^Keep in mind, though, that some states require you to pay a use tax on out-of-state or online purchases where no sales tax is charged. You don't pay it at the time of purchase, but you'll be expected to pay an equivalent amount by April 15th. Depending on your state's tax laws, of course.

Where would be the best place to check for that?

Re: Vixen does Creative Couplings or: They didn't start the

I dunno... the website for your state's government or tax department? Or just wait for them to mail your tax booklet to you -- they usually do that near the start of the year, right? If there's a use tax, the booklet would say. (You could check last year's booklet in your records, assuming you kept it.)

Re: Vixen does Creative Couplings or: They didn't start the

Simon Says automatically puts the 7.8% tax on there for us AZ residents.

I am curious about why the regular discount is no longer in evidence at that site. If I have to pay the list price of $4.99, then the cost savings of the paperbacks will easily outweigh the advantage of being able to read the stories sooner.
