I never got why Vic was so popular among some people, I personally can't stand him. He makes me think of a butler in a rich mansion that sort of manages the problems of his masters. The kind we find in comedies from the fifties and sixties...

Vic is like a sanitized Sinatra, everything we'd like to think of in Sinatra, without the cynicism and ego. I can believe the soul he projects a lot more than Sinatra's.

On the positive side, a more realistic Sinatra wouldn't have had any problems with a guy like Franky Eyes... He would have known the boss of his boss.
