I did not want to see it all... I thought the feet, and Kira's face said it all- we know she went through it, it was clear why she ended her life, so afterwards, it was the impact I was looking for. I was glad it had a reaction, not all those "bad things" that happen in ST where its all forgotten two seconds later.

I agree...that was definitely a "less is more" moment, and it was very, very powerful as it was.
Had they shown everything, I think that would've degraded it to a shock-value stunt instead of focusing on the reactions and what that would mean for Kira. And yes, she needed the wake-up call. I mean, she was playing "proud aunt" to Ziyal IN DUKAT'S QUARTERS! Sitting there on the couch next to him doting over those pictures!
I mean, she could've easily asked Ziyal to bring that stuff over to HER place if she was interested.
But good grief...her sitting there even halfway enjoying herself with DUKAT!![]()
I think it's a powerful moment and I always hold my breath when it comes up.
Suicide was overdoing it, methinks. But it served its purpose, so....
