Vanguard questions for potential reader

Who?

My other half is Irish and she didn't think it appropriate to have that many fucks in one sentence so suggested the more friendly word feck instead.

I don't think there's really anything more explict or graphic
Hmh? Each book features at least three protracted descriptions of very graphic violence, often ending in death. There are several vivid scenes of mass murder or other wholesale slaughter of various sentient creatures. There are also descriptions of heavy substance abuse, adultery, betrayal including high treason, plus marital abuse, rape, and various other interesting portrayals of misogyny and misandry.

I'm not sure the books could be more graphic if presented in comic book format...

Other than the F-bombs

You mean the word fuck don't you?

I think it was said twice and in context, it's not like any characters said: "*feck, I need to get the fecking starship to the fecking planet before it fecking explodes."

So yeah, didn't find it a problem one bit.

*for your reading pleasure, I substituted the letter u with the letter e.
Yeah, but it is in there, and there are some people who might take issue with it. Not that it bothers me, I'm a big fan of stuff like Deadwood and True Blood, but not everyone is as open minded about that stuff. And honestly, I've kind of liked seeing Star Trek get a little more of an edge to it. I think we're getting to a point now where something like ST would need that edge if it wants to compete with some of the other stuff out there.

Oh sure they could - they are very tame compared to what is happened in modern mainstream comics.
