Valentine's Day plans?

Ok, so it's an invented day to make us pay out more for overpriced 'gestures', but also it does remind us we should appreciate those we love ~ not neccessarily with a red rose or a box of chocolates.

So being bored of the usual weekend thing of being at mine on a Saturday night ~ with the tele, and the heating, and the cat and the Teenager. I've persuaded Man we should escape to his for the night ~ with candles, duvets to keep warm, the radio, the phones off, couple of bottles of wine and a takeaway.

We could talk to each other ~ would make a change! It will be romantic!

He was suspicious to start with, but phoned today saying he has bought candles  .

And if all else fails, he lives opposite a pub

So what are your plans?

I'll be in front of my computer, surrounded by books on alcoholism. And maybe a glass of wine.

I'm sending the wife off for a massage and pampering. Then I'll help run little league practice and work on the yard with the boys.

I'll make dinner, should get her a card probably....

I'm sick. Came dangerously close to pneumonia. So I'm staying at home and will let my bloke pamper me a bit. Perhaps I'll even get flowers, though I higly dought it. Still, cuddle on the sofa and drink lots of Earl Grey with milk sounds nice too. No wine for me. Alas.

I'll be in my room sobbing and screaming, "Why God, why?!"
Sending you love for Valentines Day :luvlove: Save it, and it will come out of your screen and hug you ~ 'tis true :)

No Kestra! Grab your Man and make something beautiful happen :)

Oh that's nice :techman:and with the dinner ~ candles, don't forget the candles, and flowers and little red hearts scattered around the table...

embrace romance ~ 'tis my new saying!

Staying in bed with my girlfriend and watching some films. We also plan on making fondue and having some wine.

Eh, I've always had a bit of dislike for Valentine's Day to be honest. We might spend time together but we don't have any specific plans. I did let him take me out for dinner one Valentine's Day, years back.

mr trampledamage has a gig on the Sunday evening, so our evening is the Saturday. He's borrowing the Iron Man movie from a friend and I've bought popcorn

I'll be doing the sane thing I do every night...

I don't have any plans yet, but then I haven't talked to the boss yet either. I'm sure she'll come up with something.

We'll all assume those books are for your schooling and not start making plans to travel to Chicago for the intervention.:)

I have been informed there is a chance I might have to go to a party thrown by two lesbians visiting from Kentucky. Being socially phobic it is the party thing that is annoying me.:klingon:

Watching England beat Italy in the Six Nations on TV. :bolian:

Hope you get better soon. :)

Probably watching Sports. There's the Daytona 500, ATT Pebble Beach Pro Am, The All Star Game, maybe some Olympics. Good times.

Turns out I'm meeting a friend in Berkeley that day, which is entirely unrelated to the holiday. A pity, as I'd been hoping to avoid going out on Valentine's Day.
