Quality of the episode notwithstanding, with each passing episode, I find myself wanting to have an affair with Rekha Sharma.

Meh, boring and stupid at the same time. Unless something extraordinary happens soon there's absolutely no way that this show is going to get a third season.

Ryan has been living on erth for a while. he must have noticed that most of the rest of the world has a different religion or no religion which means that there is no such thing as the human soul according to the majority of human beings on the planet.

Can you imagine?

"I found it! I found the human soul! it was very clever, it was hiding, but I found it! the human soul is squarely located in the human elbows. If we cut off their elbows we should be able to control them."

If Jack wasn't going on about souls at the same time, I'd think that Diana (if that is her name) was just faking with anna, like the time Sinclair told G'Kar that he had put an invisible undetectable tracking device inside him that his scientists would never be bale to find no matter how hard they looked.

Or the gspot! God gods the time I spent looking for that fucker believing in the buillshit Cosmo was shovelling.

"We made a baby because there's love in our hearts"

Is Ryan simple?

Or are the writers simple?

Lets close down all the fertility clinics in the world and just teach people how to love their spouses better, that's their only failing, wives and husbands just don't love each other purely enough to have children.

MADNESS!

I think Anna should discover the nature and location of the soul and extract Father Jacks in a cliffhanger. Now that would make for relatively unique television.

LOL Guy, don’t feel bad, most Straight Men have been looking for it ever since Women were popularly accepted to enjoy sex, and the Tale of the Holy Grail became Scripture.

G’Kar might’ve said something like, The G-Spot is not the finding of God, it’s the Journey

As to the whole Soul and emotion thing, I happen to subscribe to the belief that positive emotion, and deeply shared Love do contain some magic and can produce magical outcomes

A guy in the back of the Club (party, etc) with a bored look on his face, can be unattractive and ignored, and the same guy can go into the center of that congregation, and be charming, and smiling, and have a twinkle in his eye, and be the most loved person there

People recover from ailments, that have low percentage survival rates through laughter and Loving support

Why can’t you, when deeply expressing your love, excite your partner’s body to respond to an opportunity to become pregnant

When you kiss someone, it’s one thing to go through the motions of “great kissing techniques”, but, when your lose yourself into the experience, your partner goes there too

When you really support your lover, lovingly, it boosts them above what they could do without you.

So, yea, I think the Soul is connected to our Emotions. Surprisingly, I thought Jane Badler put that across well in her performance, I wasn’t sure of what her acting range, actually is

The eyes are the Window to the Soul, and strong emotion, emotes, through the eyes, IMHO

I left the TV set on, as I wandered in and out doing minor errands, half listening. When they did the dialogue about the soul, I turned it off and put in a Being Human dvd. Couldn't watch for five minutes for laughing, though.

only 8 episodes left.

And then we don't have to be worried or think about this show ever again.

You have to watch all of a show to make certain that it stays horrible.

I took me three years to recover and watch the second episode of Flash Gordon.

I assume they colonize plenty of planets one after the other and given the English language, and how they usually progress during these situations, and that she oversaw the first 30 plus years of the mission on Earth...

It was an improvement over last weeks which was an improvement over most of last season. At least I'm not surfing the web while watching it now like last season.

So who could be in charge of the world-wide resistance? Ham Tyler? Paging, Mr. Ironside please! :D (Or did he die in the original series?)

You know the whole "soul" bullshit makes perfect sense when you remember that V just another Christian allegory for the Revelation of Saint John masquerading as Science Fiction.

Is Anna, the AntiChrist, the whore of Babylon or Little Nicky?

The whole soul debate almost killed the episode for me. Anna: Let's research and destroy human souls. Really? Other than that, I thought Serpent's Tooth was OK. I actually liked the introduction of a worldwide resistance movement. About time. Their tactics are stupid, though. I also liked the overall explanation about why the Vs are here and what they are plotting.

Now, who's the best rat-eater?

O'Bannon's influence is starting to become apparent - the show has more oomph but it's also getting more ridiculous, Farscape-style. :rommie: Having the focus of the V's be human emotion was silly enough, but for it to be souls? Good gort. This show has gone from being an inert bore to being a vivid, ambitious but chaotic mess. Is that an improvement? Dunno, but I'm curious to see what happens next.

I'm sure some high-falutin' discussion about souls probably won't endear the show to people who want laser guns and catsuits.
The problem is not that it's highfalutin, it's where do you go with it? You can't visualize a soul for us to see (without getting into silly territory), you can't prove it exists scientifically, so it'll just remain talk talk talk. Something that must be based largely or solely on dialogue is a poor choice to base a TV show on, since TV is a visual medium. At least emotion is something the actors could make visual, either its presence or absence.

I think emotion and souls are both poor choices to base the dramatic conflict on. I'd rather they were just fighting over water. :rommie:

No, he didn't die. God Almighty, after sitting through that last episode, only Michael Ironside himself could make me want to watch the rest of this.

But hubby, the completist, will insist on seeing it through to the bitter end.
