I can't wait the next episode when they realize they are having a Visitor in the resistance.

Great episode, nice twists here and there. I was annoyed that Dale was resurrected somehow on the mothership so I got really happy when he got killed again, by none other than a Fifth Column member. They really are everywhere.

I usually like Joel Gretsch, so the show's working for me so far. Erica is a bore but Elizabeth Mitchell isn't, so that's not ruining the show for me. Can't really find anything about it that's really well done or possessing intrinsic interest, though.

That's the crux of the matter, though. The show isn't atrocious, but it sure isn't anything close to exceptional. At best, it's average entertainment.

Actually better than I thought, at least it's holding my interest more than FlashForward. Some of the mysteries and revelations are really captivating. I just wish they hadn't originally cut the episodes to four, you can feel how rushed the show feels in terms of plot development. And what's worse is that now we have to wait a while for new installments. Great way to kill momentum ABC!

The momentum is negative right now. Losing large numbers of viewers each week. Lets hope they had this season designed like 2 mini-series, with a chance of a separate second season in the event of successful ratings.

Good summary of my attitude, too. It could be done in so much more creative ways but as it is, I do like the way Gretsch was cast against type, and the basic premise is passably interesting.

The series will most likely return paired with Lost - yes, the post-Lost deathslot - but at least that guarantees it won't be ignored. Most likely it will get more promotion along with all the Lost final-season hooplah.

I actually had to stop watching about 30 minutes in because of a problem that I haven't encountered since 1990. Back in 1990, my local broadcaster had a chronic problem with Twin Peaks in which the stereo tracks got messed up and so virtually entire episodes would pass in which only the music soundtrack was audible, not the dialogue. (It actually gave the show a weirder ambiance than usual).

Well that actually happened with tonight's episode on CTV here in Canada. The scene where they chased the assassin played out with only the music audible - and I thought that was the intent. But then it moved on to the scene where the guys in the cafe see the V chick and once again there was no dialogue, just music and sound effects. Pretty weird. But something I thought was fixed years ago. So I guess I'll be seeking out an "alternative viewing arrangement" to see the rest of the episode...
