Anna the leader of the V's uses the popular TV anchor Chad Decker to deliver her messages to the Humans but suspicion arises from FBI investigator Erica who believes that the V's have different intentions to what they claim. Erica and Father Jack find themselves being tracked down by a seeker.

That was the best scene in the series so far when the reporter blew their minds, the look as he walked away was nicely done... :lol:

...looks like my prediction of an "incident" to justify s crackdown was right on.

Well I'll say above average, better than the pilot. It's still proceeding at a breakneck pace, and the teenagers remain every bit as annoying as their 80s forebears. which is no mean feat.

FBI leaderman: "Bitch, I know your lying. I got this dubiously acquired 911 call to prove it!"

FBI woman: "Yeah, well, instead of investigating me I'm gonna convince you right now that I'm right despite the fact I'm a known liar."

FBI Leaderman: "Wow, you've won me over."

[Near tha muthaship]

Alien cocktease: "Dude, I chose you for something."

Teen twit: "Guh...does anyone pay attention to these scenes or just read a newspaper until it gets back to the interesting characters."

[Inside the Muthaship]

Hopefully the drama of the alien-reporter exchange will distract from how Scott Wolf's nose looks strange. TOO MUCH VISIBLE NOSTRIL FOR PRIME TIME.

[New Yawk City]

Father Murphy: "You said act normal. So I molested an altar boy today."

FBI Lady: "What?! That's normal?"

Father Murphy: "Hey, I am a priest."

[On tha muthaship]

Wash: "I'm a leafy lizard on the wind."

I thought it was average. This was more of a "moving right along" episode. Nice to see Rekha Sharma. The guy playing Tyler is annoying and can't act.

well it kept me entertained for an hour- so good. Its not a great show but... its a good wallpaper show for when youre cleaning or whatever..

No one has mentioned anything about Anna's RHL(right hand lizard.) I like watching him, but Im not really sure why- he's bland looking in that 80's sitcom dad kind of way. I hope he gets to do more that just sneer at Faux-Micheal J Fox all the time.

Average - didn't thrill me, didn't bore me. Previews for next week look more interesting--if for no other reason than more Wash. melancholymecha, I did notice Right-Hand Lizard... and I also noticed that Anna was absent during the interrogation and scheming he was involved in. Maybe she just didn't want to get her claws dirty, but I hope they're actually setting up a split in the Visitor hierarchy. Anna, a 'catch them with honey not vinegar' type, and this reptilian specimen, with a more pragmatic and violent approch. Having already made the Vs out as villains, they need to complexify the situation (Lisa a genuine believer, for instance, not aware of what her superiors are up to).

What would really blow my mind is if Wash was one of the good guys. Factions within the Vs could mean double-agents... Wash, posing as a human, is also posing as a member of RHL's violent agents, while actually undercover for Anna's faction, trying to get at the leadership of the aggressive Vs (who they don't know is RHL). Would explain his pathetic performance against Juliet--he wasn't actually trying to kill her, merely play the part.

Meanwhile, this episode triggered a repressed memory. When I saw the guy on the table with the snakes, I suddenly had a flash of a guy's hand being placed on a table made to watch it get instantly vivisected. Guess I must have seen part of the original after all.

I loved the part when the TV reporter said that he controls public policy, so true, even in today's world sans lizard folk.

I dunno, I hated the PILOT. Hated it.

Tonight I thought was much better, and as good if not slightly better than say an episode of SG: U (which is another show I don't like but don't entirely dislike either).

I liked the Pilot - didn't love it, but liked it enough to watch the rest of the 4 fall episodes to give it a fair chance.

This week I enjoyed much more. It was paced better which allowed me to get a bit more invested in the overall plot and the characters. Don't like the kids though, nope. Hopefully that aspect of the show improves (or is excised, though that's not likely I'm sure).

My wife and I had a similar take. At one point in that sequence, I believe I commented, "he's an alien. He's a priest. And she's a Cylon." And my wife launched into hysterics.
