USS Titan 3D pic????

2 years worth of free books is a good prize. I admit that at first I didn't like the design but after I saw the ortho's it grew on me. Congrats. Can't wait to see the mesh. I just hope the next book is better than the last one.

Well it is not the image on the cover, but I have changed my avatar so you can
see a different angle of the Titan.

*Note These are the best Ican do until the cover is posted.

Thanks for "treading close to the knife's edge" and letting us see a bit more.

(ahem)...

Is the reason that it's in a different orientation in each view because it's flying in circles due to the impulse engine placement? (wink-wink-nudge-nudge)

NO.... you got the angle you got because Ellory did not have the top of the mesh finished when he gave me these views.

I have recently sent a email to Marco asking about this and hopefully we will see if he can take care of the lack of "Cover" issue.

^ Like I said over in TrekLit, if I had to bet, I'd go with him waiting on the S&S website folks to do their thing. It has nothing to do with keeping it "under wraps," since the thing was displayed openly at Comic-Con.

And it looked sweet, too. :)

Here are two more Teaser Avatars. Ellory gave me a whole bunch of
files while he was creating the mesh, that is where I am getting these.
None are the cover image for book 4.

I decided to repost these. I posted them a while back when Ellory start work on the mesh. These where the last shots that Marco let me put up so here they are again.

* Remember this was early on in the Titan Build.

I have to admit im kind of suprised that there has not been more 3d creations of this ship by people. I gone to http://www.scifi-meshes.com/ alot and theres not one creation of it yet. BTW that site had some awesome 3D ship images. FOr to "gallery" "star trek".

I decided to create a wallpaper depicting the Cover
of Titan Book 4 "The sword of Damocles" which has the first official 3D Shot
of the my U.S.S. Titan on it. The Meshes that Pocket used was created by
Ellery Connell A.K.A. "Masterjedi" over at scifi-meshes.com

WOW!!! That is one awesome-looking ship! Congrats on a great winning-design  Can't wait to read the book and get myself a copy of that stunning cover. :)

Excellent! Even more beautiful in 3D than 2D.

Now the official images have been released I'm about ready to have a go at modeling it. :)

Thanks for sharing this, Sean!

I've been looking at this for a while now, and there's something that strikes me as... different?... from what I saw before.

Is it just me, or is the location on the secondary hull where the nacelle pylons attach a bit more... I dunno... blocky (not saying that in a bad way, you know I like machines to look like machines!) than the original sketches showed?

Also, I'm curious about the "glowing ring" on the lower dome (and presumably on the upper dome?)... kind of a blue-green ring with eight "spikes" coming off the outside diameter. What's this supposed to be?

Finally, this is not aimed at you, necessarily, but rather whoever did this painting (based upon the rendered model)... but I can't help but notice that the port and starboard running lights are both green. In modern tradition, and as has been carried through into the "treknology" arena as well, you normally have one green and one red, identifying the right/left (or port/starboard) sides of the ship. I seem to recall that on your colored image the colors were "right." Is this just something that's slipped through the cracks? Or is it this way by intent?
