USS Discovery in TOS?

Hey I have no problems with anyone who likes the show but it's not for me and quite a few others! Especially with the stories having used up a few of TOS's later storylines so early and others that never happened in the entire three year run!

It's Berman, not Bergman. And I'm a TOS/TNG fan, and I'm also a fan of nuTrek and DSC. So "acceptance" isn't as big a deal as you're making it out to be.

The storylines I was referring to were the Mirror Universe and the Klingon conflict! And yep they can't win! you noticed that too, eh?

Mirror Universe? That's called a setting, not a storyline. Klingon conflict? There've been many storylines about that. Which one did they use?

So? Are you saying no elements from TOS can appear in other productions? That's absurd.

Sure it did. We just saw a season long storyline about it. It happened prior to TOS so how could it show up on TOS?

You do realize events can be added to the timeline of the universe before, after and in between TOS, right? Because...fiction.

I don't mind them adding stuff, but it should make sense within the story they are adding to. Neither the Klingon War or the Mirror Universe incursion really gel with TOS. All in my opinion.
