About the "ramscoops"... that's a really interesting idea, about the dish being part of that system. Maybe, the dish makes the magnetic 'funnel', and those boxes (those intakes on the new Enterprise) on the bottoms of the nacelles just suck up the gathered hydrogen? That's kind of a neat idea. Maybe this ship has the prototype system that works this way.

Hey MadMan, I love where you're going with this. This ship "feels" TOSesque to me.

My only critique is the raised panels/ deep lines, all over her. They seem a little to pronounced.

Do you plan to place any gold, or rust coloured details in the deflector?

I think the panels will grow on you, once it gets textures. And yep, the dish will be a copper color.

I think the dish is built. I tweaked it a little...

What do you mean? I think they fit in pretty well with the rest of the design... I know some guys thought they would look better straight, but I liked them better this way.

Hah! So it IS noticeably larger than the Kelvin. I like it mucho much!

I think you could maybe get away with some kind of glowy dome thing above the bridge, considering that's always been pegged as a "sensor dome" of some kind. Maybe stick a dome on top of some kind of low sleeve or a little raised platform like they did on NX-01?

Oh yeah, it will have a dome up there. Just didn't build it yet.

Also, the bridge is too small... I just noticed that while looking at it. It'll grow a little before the next update.
