I just got back from a week and a half trip to Southern California so I really don't have any plans. Probably watching Baseball or something like that.
My fiancée is not really fond of heels for the same reason (she's not really a runner, but she values stability over fashion). In addition, I have subtly discouraged her from wearing heels because she's taller than me with them. My clever plan has succeeded so far.^I've never seen my wife wear heels. She's a distance runner and values her ankles.![]()
Then my friend got kicked out of the Cubs game.
apparently you're not allowed to put your head down at a baseball game; they think you're too drunk
Spent yesterday meeting Leonard Nimoy and getting his autograph. Today I'll go looking for another pair of Nike or New Balance cross-trainers (to replace my older pair that is finally worn out after three years) and may go BBQ with some friends. Tomorrow maybe a movie.

What for?

That sounds wrong to me. Not allowed to put your head down? No decent stadium security would ever throw somebody out for doing THAT...

This weekend is the Phoenix Comic Con isn't it? Hope it's a good one.
The guy was being a total douchebag. I spoke to his supervisor, and he let me go back into the game. He had no idea why the security guy had even pulled me out.
I think the security officer was on a power trip.
Personally, though, I was in Chicago a couple of months ago and I found everyone at Wrigley to be very friendly (it really is the 'friendly confines', just like they say).
He didn't put his hand on your face and push you out of his way? He must be mellowing in his old age.Spent yesterday meeting Leonard Nimoy and getting his autograph.
