US fans - New episodes start April 23

ONE...DAY...It's win freakin' win baby!

It's seemed like no time and lots of time since the X-Mas spacial. Time, it's funny.

Wibbly wobbly and all that...

Since I am the solo Who fan in the household, I shall be watching on my computer with headphones on. Heaven help anyone who even thinks of disturbing me.

My three year-old doesn't even know today's the day, but when she woke up the first thing she said was "Doctor Who!"

And yesterday while watching Voyager, she demanded, "Turn it off! Doctor Who!"

Nice to know I'm raising a third-generation fan.

I can't wait for tonight. I've scrupulously avoided spoilers, and...I can't wait. I love not knowing what to expect.

According to the New York Times, in the United States we're not getting a new episode on the Saturday before Memorial Day, with BBC America doing a marathon of Doctor Who repeats instead.

If I have it figured right, the "skip" will come in between "The Rebel Flesh" and "The Almost People." Good job, BBC America, splitting up a two-parter like that! *sarcasm*

Oh, sweet fuck. Space will probably do something similar. We don't celebrate Memorial Day in Canada, but the weekend before it is Victoria Day in Canada, so Space will probably litter the whole long weekend with some sort of marathon of movie people don't care about. Or SGU. Which I guess is the same thing.

so that first weekend of may right. that is messed up fraggin goverment holiday's.

do we know how many episodes this season will be? the usual 13?

Isn't it Liberty Day or the like? Not really sure what that is as we don't have anything similar here but I would assume by the very title of it, that's a big deal and would result in a day off work etc.
