so it's pretty much done, save for minor tweaks that JJ might want, and they gave him a complete outline.

so it's moving along. I kind of hope that they show new audiences that Trek doesn't have to follow the format of comic book films by having over-the top villains, and I hope they go for something unusual and even cerebral.

Whilst I'm curious to see what's next I cannot see them doing more than three of these films, so I expect it to be pretty much the same, just with Kirk in the chair instead of Pike or Spock.

I hope they do something that entertains a huge number of people and makes a lot of money for Paramount.

Selfishly, I just hope it entertains me. It would be nice if it also entertains lots of other people and makes a healthy profit, of course.
