Upcoming Lost Encyclopedia Book

Lost Encyclopedia is coming out on the same day the Season 6 DVD will August 24. It can be found on Amazon.

I didn't post a link because I didn't know the rules on here. I'm not trying to sell it! Believe me.

Will you be purchasing it or do you think Lostpedia online already has all that stuff anyway?

Could be good and have new info or be just a cash cow opportunity.
Thoughts?:)

^ Trek encyclopedias had so much conjecture though. I can't speak for memory alpha, as I've only browsed it a couple times, but it just seems the far superior format. Lostpedia would have my vote too.

Paper books just can't cut it these days.

I knew pretty much everything there is to know about the Beatles, but I keep buying books about them, even though it's all on the internet. I think I can say the same about Lost...as supremely great as Lostpedia is, there's just something about reading a book about something you love while eating some breakfast cereal that makes it seem even cooler. (Yes, I have a laptop, but the breakfast book is more fun :p.)

I'd rather have an in-depth series companion like the Star Trek Compendium or the excellent Twilight Zone companion by Marc Scott Zicree.

Lostpedia online works fine for me. Makes it much easier to cross reference.

What's needed now is some sort of timeline related book that can successfully relate the whole story in a more linear fashion.

Aswell as being full of information, books are aesthetically pleasing to me, and so I will buy this. Lostpedia, although a great site, A; doesn't look good on my shelves and B; is not an "official" source of information. Same with MA.

It's also tougher to bring Lostpedia to the bathroom with you.

I might buy that; I'd certainly put it on my "Wishlist."

I'm so obsessed with LOST that, when it's finally over (*sob*), I might just get the encyclopedia to ease the withdrawal symptoms.
