Upcoming games for 2026

This looks downright hilarious. Yes, it's a real game.

Link is riding a Charizard while welding an AK-47.

I'm 50/50 on whether this is stolen assets slop (several Pokemon fan artists have come forward saying their original creations are in this without permission) or just AI slop and there is no actual game.

Everyone's calling it a lawsuit speedrun.

This is a copy of a copy game?

Palworld is already out...

Oh yay, look, another way for Ubisoft to charge full price again! Honestly, the cynic in me feels like a remake wasn't really needed. The remastered version of the original still looked great.

Yeah, they seem to be reworked a lot of it, including the fact that the office bits are now optional. But still, as good as this looks, they'll be charging $80 CAD for it, and $90 CAD for the deluxe edition. There comes a point where I have to start questioning how much value I get out of certain games at these price points, especially if they're remakes, as it really squeezes the wallet.

007 First Light looks promising, I just hope they let James Bond be James Bond.

'Fable" looks impressive, in the end it's all about gameplay, always is....doesn't matter how pretty a game is if the gameplay sucks.

I'm looking forward to play it as i loved the original but i'm in no rush.

Since i play mostly out of Steam ( f.. those other exclusive proprietary platform games like Ubisoft and others who force me to make a new account) one option is to go through a 3rd party Steam Key seller, where you can get even new games for 10-15% less ( legally), sometimes even 20% ( with older games even much more). Or you wait a few months until Steam drops the price or there is a sale going on like SUmmer, Winter etc.

I'll be safe waiting seeing as I have a long enough backlog anyway. No rush at all here. I'll probably get to it 5 years from now.

Made the mistake of looking at the list of freebie games I've got and I think there's about 70 or so I haven't installed yet :(
Need some HD space though, and probably faster processor/gpu/more ram for some of them - That's not counting ones I want to finish, or play again.

There is a Star Wars monopoly game coming out on the switch 2. Man, Star Wars is everywhere now: Disney Dreamlight Valley, Fortnight and now monopoly

Summer Game Fest 2026 started...
