UPC and EAN databases

Is there any site on the Internet, where I can find out the UPC/EAN number of any product. The best database I've found is Amazon.com's Amapedia. But there are plenty of products that aren't available on Amazon.com, especially products made in other countries or obscure action figures.

Does anyone know of a better barcode database?
