Unresolved Shows

Why are you including this in a list of unresolved shows? It's still airing every Monday and hasn't been cancelled yet.

You know it will be though

Eventually, yes, but given that Fox has committed to a full 22-episode season, there's no reason to assume its demise is imminent -- or that its story arc will be unresolved. Two of the show's producers are members on another BBS I frequent (Ex Isle), and according to them, the network has been very supportive of the show. I know people have this mental image of Fox as a network that loves to cancel genre shows, but that was the policy of network executives who are no longer working there, so that image is out of date. (Also, it's kind of an unfair characterization even of the old execs. What people fail to consider is that the reason Fox has cancelled so many SF/fantasy shows is because for a long time it was the only major network that was consistently buying SF/fantasy shows in the first place.)
I was thinking the show was picked up for a full season because of T4 coming out next year. Also moving shows to Fridays is not a good thing most of the time, especially a sci fi series

Regardless, there's a difference between an old show that actually was cancelled with an unresolved cliffhanger and a show that's currently in first run with an unknown fate. If you're going to throw TSCC into the list, you might as well throw every other current show in there, except for something like Lost that's been guaranteed a resolution.

The ratings for the show have drastically fallen off. I expect an unresolved death. It's a seriously flawed Terminator show. They might as well call it "Terminators of Our Lives." It's even listed as drama, instead of action/adventure in the on-screen cable guide description.

^^Okay, fine, "expect" all you want, but this is not the thread for what we expect to happen in the future. It's still off-topic, so long as the show is still on the air. Can we drop this and get back to the actual subject?

^Do I sense a tinge of touchiness of the personal kind? Okay, I'll wait. Then I'll be back in force.... maybe.;)

It's been mentioned a few time now, but Earth 2 badly needs more episodes, seasons and an ending.

Wikipedia lists the actress who played Clancy Brown's Earth 2-character's daughter as dead.
She died of a heart-attack in July 2006... :(

Yes, Maddie battled a heart condition throughout her teen years and young adulthood. I can't remember for sure, but she was either about to be married or had just been married a couple months when she died. It was very sad. :(

Ahem:
Sarah Connor Terminated!

Sigh, what a wasted opportunity.

No one's mentioned Millennium, cancelled a few months before 2000. The X-Files episode meant to resolve it was pathetically inadequate.

7 Days
Alien Nation
Space: 1999
Star Trek

In all fairness, there wasn't a whole lot on 7 Days or the original Star Trek to resolve. And Star Trek did get 6 or 7 movies, so I'd consider things wrapped. As for 7 Days, I think you actually do get a decent ending for things if you flip the last 2 episodes and end the series with Parker thwarting the Russian Backstep program in "Born in the USSR."

Shitty deal.

I really liked Earth-2 when it first aired and was sad to see it go.

I suppose it's been mentioned already but it looks like "Life" on NBC got canceled. While the finale wasn't a cliffhanger there was still plenty more room for that show to grow. I'm going to miss it.

The 4400 and The Dead Zone.

I'm still upset that they were cancelling that shows. It has leaving me wanting more to know what's happening next. Why are they keeping canned many of good shows?? :scream:

There should be a series called "Unresolved Shows" where the same cast every week (and some guest stars from the original shows, if possible) resolves a cancelled series.

Earth 2: They find the Statue of Liberty...OMG, they were wrong, it was Earth 1 all along!
