Unreleased scene from DVD up on youtube!

Both of those are great...love the explanation of why its always a police box...and that Amy has no idea what a police box is in the first place...

It may only be for one frame, but Barbara! the professor who never ages. Awwwww :) This makes me way happier than it should.

It took me a couple minutes to place it, but I think that was probably a bit of a shout-out to the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation-built drinks dispenser on the Heart of Gold in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which conducted a similarly exhaustive analysis of the perfect customized drink to produce for a user before coming out with a cup of undrinkable dreck identical to every other cup of undrinkable dreck it had ever made. Still a funny gag, though.

Wow, both of those scenes were wonderful. I wish there was someway they were included in the original episodes even though I know they're between episodes. Between Space Gandalf, not seeing "it" (and providing another explanation for why The Doctor has companions), and the callback to a variety of companions, the first clip was fantastic. And the whole conversation in the second clip about what a police box is and why the TARDIS defaults to it is also great.

Space Gandalf :guffaw: :guffaw: :guffaw:

Emh, these scenes were written specially for the DVD/Blueray discs. So they were shot well after series 5 had wrapped.

Oh, God those are awesome. I love the line about the back yard. Fabulous. I'd forgotten how much I liked 11 and Amy.

Oh wow those were great!!Love the Doctor thinking of himself as Gandalf or Yoda, loved Amy tricking him into showing off the past companions (really though there should have been the odd shot of Jamie or Harry or Ian etc in there!

Loved the look on Matt Smith's face when it was showing pics of Leela.

And the xplanation of why the Tardis looks like a police box....bloody brilliant

WillsBabe, I conccur 100%

That second scene doesn't work. She saw him put on the bow tie in the hospital. Why would she question him about it then?

Because at the time he was putting it on, he was rather busy confronting the Atraxi. I think she knew better to not bother him about it then.

No, but it's like it's a new thing to her. He's wearing it because it's one of the things he found. Or maybe she was too busy eyeing up The Doctor's Dancer to notice.

About a year ago I was saying how can they replace Tennant, now I can't wait to get more stories with Smith, he is perfect as The Doctor.

It's still been two years from her. She called him out on still wearing the same stolen clothes when she first saw him after he landed. Though it does seem a bit odd for him to be reiterating that "Bowties are cool" word-for-word about ten minutes after he first said it. Though I suppose repeating a joke because it got lost in the conversation earlier is one of those real things that doesn't make good dialogue.

Just the two, and while I could be nitpicky about lots of things here, I won't because they're both just so fun. :D

I love that bit from the drink. It made a drink that was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea! :rommie:
