8 days to go ;) I was wondering whose getting the sequel to probably the best game on the PS3 and easily one of the best in gaming history.

Personally UC2 is my 2nd favourite game of all time (behind ME2) so I have high high hopes for the 3rd game in the PS3 flagship series. I also look forward to the expanded co-op since it was a great addition in Uncharted 2. Uncharted was the main reason I brought a PS3 back in April I sooooooo need this game now

I actually bought Uncharted: Drake's Fortune when I bought my PS3 to give me something to hold me over for the week before GTA IV came out, and I immediately fell in love with it. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is probably in my top three all-time favorite games.

So, yeah. I plan on being there at midnight to pick up Uncharted 3 :)

I played both Uncharted 1 and 2 for the first time a couple months ago, and I thought they were awesome. I am definitely looking forward to this one. I enjoy them because, not only are they solid games, but the characters are very entertaining as well.

Yeah, looking forward to it, though I probably won't pick it up right away. I just have too much gaming goodness awaiting for me lol.

Looking forward to it and have started to organise who from my collection will be sacrificed for this game.

I had this pre-orderd but when i found out its was another game that comes with one of those bloody one time activation codes i cancelled it.......i have no issue with game devs or publisher trying to get some cash from the second hand market but dont invlolve me, the first hand buying, in that proccess.

I was so looking forward to this as well.

I played the Subway demo nonstop until I hit the level cap. Multiplayer-wise, they've made it so that you can run and gun... which is both fun and frustrating at times. I just hope the single player campaign doesn't have the same ending as UC2... yuck.

I don't get it your buying it new why should you care about the 2nd hand market on this?

Because i bought a console for its drop in the disc and play features, if i wanted to sit typing in serial keys while requiring a internet connection then i would have stayed on the PC......but that's just me.......but if it does not bother you the more power to you.;)

I've never been against the online passes though I do think they should be $5 or $5.99 passes not $10. I will gladly spend 15 seconds putting in any code should it mean I get to play Uncharted 3, next week cannot come any sooner for me

So wait, what's going on? I have to pay extra money to play this?

I think that is for people who buy used. Each new game includes a one time use code that you can enter to access MP. So if you buy new, it is included in the purchase price. If you buy used, you will have to buy that separately.

Sort of like the Catwoman code in Batman.

The one time code will come with the game when you buy it new, you need to log into the PSN and input the code, this will open up the games online features and only for your account....if you buy the game new then you get the code in the box free....if you buy the game second hand and want to play online then you will have to buy a pass code from the PSN.

The Batman AC code is slightly more diffrent because its used to unlock a single player charactor, if you dont have your PS3/360 online then you cant access that catwoman charactor.

What was wrong with the ending? It was just about perfect.

I guess I'm missing something here. If you're not hooked to the internet, you're not playing online anyway. So you don't need to worry about the code. But if you are playing online, buying it new won't cost you anything to play.

And while inputing a code is a pain, is it such a big pain that you'd bypass a game you were "so looking forward to?"

If so, I'm guessing you won't be gaming much in the future.

^^Its all about principle........Why should i, the first time buying have to jump through this little hoop so that game devs and publishers can hit the second hand console games market......console games always cost more, have less visuals than the PC, but they offer that drop in and play aspect, that's why i pay a premium for console games........granted exclusives like Uncharted i cant get on the PC and they do offer some fantastic visuals and gameplay, but i dont agree to being roped in by game devs and publishers into their little war on the second hand console market with these one time use codes, and i'm certainly not paying them £40/45 for that privilage.

If i must sit here typing in serial keys and require a internet to access single player features of games then i may as well be doing it on the PC, its a hell of a lot cheaper for each game, and you get access to better graphics and stuff like physx.

But as i said already, if your happy with it then more power to you :techman:.....this is just my personal pet hate with these one time codes on console games and why i wont be supporting them on the consoles. ;)

You don't have to enter any code in for single player features EXCEPT for the DLC which always has been an extra deal anyway. I buy a LOT of console games and I've not yet been forced to enter any code unless I wanted the DLC content OR play online. And for the most part, the DLC content is worthless to me.

I don't understand your point, but I respect your right to have it, and if you're okay with missing out on exclusive consoles games, then it's none of my business.

It's all good.

I'm confused about this as well. The stuff that requires online access is always extra bonus material that you don't need to have in order to play the game.

If you weren't planning to play it online anyway, why do you care that you can't access the online material?
