ultimate UFO!!!

There has been this story the past couple days about a mysterious object that will be passing close to earth. Some people think it is 'man made' junk that is somehow in our 1 yr orbit period..some thing its very small comet...but whatever it is, has them all baffled...

If you've read this story, what do you think it is???

Given the reported size, is it a discarded S-IVB stage from one of the Apollo missions perhaps? Not all of them were crashed into the Moon.

No, the object is too small to be an S-IVB. NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory has identified it as an Apollo class Near-Earth Asteroid. Nothing to do with the Apollo program, but with an asteroid of that name, discovered in 1932.

These NEAs are small and light and their proximity to Earth means that their orbits are very easily influenced by the much more massive Earth. For 2010 AL30, as the asteroid is called, this means a 1-year orbit that brings it close to both Earth and Venus.

I don't know who these 'mystified' astronomers are, but Phil Plait identifies it as asteroid 2010 AL30.

Its god passing by in his car and caravan, if he happens to glance out the passenger side window at us as he passes he is going to be pissed at what we have been getting up too.

Lets hope his missue has a big map out blocking his view or Jesus is in the back causing problems, ........becuse if he looks over at us were in trouble.
