Nice, aren't they? Got them too, but not in the nice case, just put on a shelf (next to some Thunderbirds and a very battered Starfury) as I got them back in the day.
Great series, Straker is a real prototype for the lead characters of later years.
My parents despised science fiction. My Dad did put together an AMT Enterprise for me--hacking and sawing it for me when I said "it doesn't look right." Best model I ever had.
I brought it to my Grandmother's house--my Mom's Mom--and she warned me not to take it, saying I'd break it.
Then my cousin showed up and I hid it from the little hellion--and my Mom up and volunteered I show him my "Star Track." I think she knew I loved it--and did that on purpose. She and her Mom forced me to share it with him--and he ran at full speed all over the house.
The little bastard broke it of course, hooking his ankle on a recliner that dated to the Precambrian.
