U.S.S. TITAN -- THE WINNER!

This is just a for fun project that I am doing. by no means are these offical
unless I am told by the powers that be A.K.A. Marco that they are. I am just having so fun adding to my Titan design. So why not create new shuttles???

In the rules for the competition, it was stated that Titan had eight shuttles of various sizes, which was nice and vague. However, IIRC, in The Red KIng the shuttles (with the exception of the captain's yacht) were all type-11 shuttles.

According to a quick look through Memory Alpha and EAS, none of the shuttles we've seen on screen have been called type 11. So it can still be a new design.

I've got my eye on the one farthest to the right, just above the ship logo.

It just seems... familiar... somehow....

On page 227 of The Red King, from the second line of the first full paragraph: "All eight of the type-11 shuttles were being deployed." But you're right. There is no mention of it being an existing class of shuttle, although there is also no mention of it not being an existing class. The previous class, the type-10, was a compact craft designed to fit the Defiant. I suppose it is entirely possible that they've used a new design, but it doesn't explicitly say so, or not, in the books so far. If I were to pick my favourite, it would be the one on the bottom left.

I would assume that the Type-11 design is that of the Enterprise-E's shuttle from INS.

Here is thenext detailed sketch idea for the Armstrong.
This on is based off of the upper left shuttle from my previous
set of mini sketches.

It looks like a shuttle and a runabout got together and had a baby.

I like it, though I'm not keen on that off centre deflector array on the nose of the craft.

Hey I just saw the Titan in the Newest issue of the Star Trek Magazine. Granted it is the same angle as on the Cover of the Book, but it is a big clear shot to head an article about the Titan and her crew.

Sean, will you be releasing the 3D model of Titan for others to play around with once it's complete? And if so, what program(s) would you need to use it?

I didn't think Sean was working on the 3D.
No but Ellery is a close friend and co-worker that i hand picked to create the offical mesh. I have every render. I am just waiting on him to texture everything.

John Eaves just contacted me and I guess they (CBS) are going to be doing a road tour with the Titan as the Center. So he is going to be making a 6ft.
Physical model of the Titan based off of my design. WOW!!!
