U.S.S. TITAN -- THE WINNER!

Sweet! San Francisco!!!

It would be amazing if it were at Fort Baker! (the real site of Starfleet Headquarters, and the location for all the backdrop shots of Starfleet Academy), but it'll probably just be at Moscone or something.

Does anyone actually know when the tour will actually come to these cities? Or what the average Non-VIP ticket will cost? Yipee!

The "Star Trek World Tour" ?!?
I'm sorry, but I need to rant about this. This is another example of the Americans thinking that "the world" is actually just the US and occasionally Canada. The rest of "the world" like Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Africa, Asia etc, also like Star Trek and would sell their entire families to go to an event like this.

When the suits at CBS decide that a "world tour" actually means leaving the borders of North America then I will gladly stop complaining and drain my bank account. Until then, let me just say that [not repeatable]!!!

All the promotion I've seen just calls it Star Trek: The Tour. The only place I've seen "world" attached to it is in this thread.

I do think it's arrogant in professional sports, though. Baseball's World Series and the NFL's world champions are nothing of the kind (although I'd probably bet on the American football team against another country's top team).

Well, yeah, the Americans would all have on helmets and shoulder-pads and stuff and the other guys would just be running around with a Soccer ball.

Oh I don't know, I reckon the Aussies would give them a run for their money.

Untrue!! We have just as much disregard for America, Jr. as the rest of you "countries."

Sean, are you gonna have any input on the building of the model, or will they just be basing it on your images?

Too right! They'll go all Aerial pingpong on us!

Mr, Rizzardi has Ellery's Mesh and is using a CNC router to create the pattern. from there they will make the molds.

I have just handed off the Vector image for the Decals.

So we are getting some say in the build.

^^Does that mean the CG model or mesh or whatever it's called is complete now as to surface details/texture? Or are there some remaining details other than decals/color that the modelmakers will have to sculpt in the old-fashioned way?

Hey, I could sell tickets for people Down Under to pop in and see my Star Trek collection. I have a TOS-used tribble, several screen-used costumes, and plenty of stuff to keep them entertained! ;)
