U.S.S. TITAN -- THE WINNER!

Ayelbourne, I'm getting some very intrusive popup ads on that site -- the kind where the "close" button is a cheat that just opens the ad in a new window. I tried putting the ad server address in my blocked content, but I still get the popup window, just empty and with no way of closing it so I can't even see the image underneath.

Strange. I get no popups at all there, no matter how often I reload the page. There is a small add on the right side of the image, but it doesn't obscure anything.

You sure, it comes from that page? Maybe something hijacked your browser.

In any case, I'm using Firefox with the standard popup-Blocker plus NoScript Addon.

Hm, deactivating Noscript brings up popups for me too.

Well, you could simply install the addon. I'd highly recommend using it anyway as it protects against stuff like keyloggers as well.

Ingame, all rooms are bigger than we're used from the shows, the main reason being that the "camera" that follows you're character needs space in order to give you a good view of your surroundings.

If for example, the wall and ceiling would only be a few foot from you, the only thing you'd most likely see would be your characters back or head.

It's a game engine issue and can't be helped. I usually just pretend the rooms are smaller.

cool, thanks for the explanation.

In any case, I'm using Firefox with the standard popup-Blocker plus NoScript Addon.

I've also got NoScript installed on my computer, and I didn't get any popups. I really recommend installing NoScript or a similar add-on for your browser. It can be a bit of a pain sometimes when you go to a legit website and they use about half a dozen different site's scripts to do things, but you can white-list them for the future. Better safe than sorry.

Love the pics. I think the bridge is too roomie as well. They could have used a variant of Sean's designs for the bridge at least. I noticed the pop up ads came up when you got to the site and I'm not actually on a computer but my phone.
