From the First Episode:
Eh, it's alright so far. However, there are way too many characters and it doesn't really focus on anyone in particular and jumps arround way too much for my liking. Although the spaced-based combat was interesting.

I'll give it the 3-5 episode rule like always to see if it gets better.

If you're interested in the same type of show (the politically driven, sci-fi, tactical space action/drama) I'd also suggest giving Starship Operators and the Crest of the Stars series a shot. Tytania seems to me like combination of the two, but whether that's good or bad is up future episodes.

At the moment, I find other series of the season more exciting prospects like Chaos Head, Gundam 00 II, and Vampire Knight: Guilty but that could definitely change.
