OK, for a moment I thought I was hallucinating: I just happened to flip channels to see Tyra Banks throwing rubber balls at three models who were holding lightsabers. But, checking the website that she fortuitously mentioned afterward, it seems that it was real:

I never got that in the brief bit that I saw. She threw one ball at them, which I think missed, so then she walked over and bopped them each on the head with the remaining ball. My best guess is that it was some form of dodgeball(?), but I have no idea what the 'sabers were for (since they didn't seem to try to use them to deflect the incoming ball).

And, yeah, they grabbed the energy blades all sexy-like as in the above pic. My inner geek was silently yelling, "You'll cut off your fingers!"

That video is the "Plan 9 from Outer Space" of music videos. It's so horrible that you want to show it to your friends, just to prove to them that something that horrifically bad actually exists.

Stupid... The picture is from Tyra's talk show. The three models she is posing with are the first three girls kicked off of this season AKA cycle of America's Next Top Model. The above photo shoot is supposed to represent the "redemption" of these three models as they dress as superheroes and pose doing different things that they were kicked off the show for. The girl on the left didn't smile with her eyes. The blond didn't pose well in a shoot where kickballs were being thrown at her (they aren't shown in the lightsaber pic). And the girl on the right didn't pose well with some lights, hence the lightsaber.

This is a very photoshopped pic... Tyra wasn't even wearing that outfit when she posed for the pic, but was wearing a black outfit.

Oh, don't worry, I get the joke. I just don't see how being obsessed with Top Model is any worse than being obsessed with Star Wars. Different strokes for different folks, you know? There's really no reason to question someone's sanity just because they like a show you don't.

Also, HELLO! lightsaber safety 101. this is exactly why lightsaber purchases should require licenses and thorough background checks. I mean, c'mon, they're holding the blade!

So what? I am a woman and I like watching America's Next Top Model. I rarely watch Tyra Banks' talk show ('cause I don't normally watch talk shows plus I think Tyra is a little full of herself), but I happened to be watching it the other week when they did the retarded light saber photo shoot. Is that concerning? I'm not obsessed with the show at all, I just remember what everything represented in the photo shoot because I thought it was just so stupid.
