Two scenes from my superhero short film "Fallen"

It has promise but I agree with Beaker in how you should set up your shots.
Also work a little more on the action scenes so they look more natural.
The way you've filmed them, you can tell they're staged and chorographed.
It also wouldn't hurt by giving the actors more direction on the emotional front.
They need slightly more conviction in their words. Like your drama about the kid dealing with death did.

Like I said, it has promise.
I think with a little tweaking, you can make it better.
