All previous Tomb Raider games take place in between the new remake and Catalyst, with a few tweaks.
As far as I know, the show Amazon is putting on will take place in the Tomb Raider universe, which was created along with the comic book released in 2013.All previous Tomb Raider games take place in between the new remake and Catalyst, with a few tweaks.

Yeah that's how Uncharted did it, i think it was based on time..if you took too long to solve a puzzle it would give you hints...and if you kept screwing up the puzzle solution it would ask you if you wanted to solve the puzzle.
I did some research online, and what you're saying is impossible because the first game in the 2014 reboot was Lara's first mission, while the game coming in 2026 is a remake of the 1996 game and has a story that takes place later. In the first reboot game, Lara is around 18-19, while in these new games she'll be in her late 20s or mid-30s. But I think it's true that everything takes place in the same universe. All previous Tomb Raider games take place in between the new remake and Catalyst, with a few tweaks.

It says on the timeline that they are updated retellings of every other game hence why I said with a few tweaks.
for good reason, i think.I think diehard fans have always been divided between the original Lara Croft games and the reboot Lara Croft. That's always been the way I suspect. I just enjoy the games for what they are as there is no real point in getting that hung up about a character.
All three Tomb Raider 'series' have contradictory aspects. An explanation will likely come soon. One theory online suggests that, with the exception of Tomb Raider 1, remakes of games 2 and 3, as well as a Legend series, will be made to fit the new timeline.

The original introduced (as another post indicates) a new element : exploration as a cornerstone of the experience. It wasn't just a shooter (call of duty in a crypt)
The return of dinosaurs gets me interested.

no nothing "wrong" per se..just not the experience that people are accustomed to when it comes to , well, Tomb Raiding.Me too those were fun games. And the dinos look cool.
BTW there's nothing at all wrong with reboot Lara from the survivor trilogy. People just like to complain
