He should give his $350,000 an episode to charity. What an ingrate. I like what someone said on Twitter about it: "Looks like Kirk Cameron has finally found someone to come to his birthday parties."

I was just going to say didn't some sitcom star go off the deep end like this before, but couldn't remember the name - but that was it, Kirk Cameron.

If that's what he wants, no problem. I've seen it twice and never bothered since. It's "filth" only in that it's a crappy show.

Oh, I'm sure he'll be picked up by Christian filmmakers, and go on to "star" in some of the most poorly written, horribly acted piles of dreck since the 40 year old end times extravaganza "A Thief in the Night", or the beloved "Left Behind" movie series. After all, who needs the validation of Hollywood when you can make that sweet Pat Robertson money AND be a dick for Jesus?

It's a 19 year old kid, thinking he's smarter than every adult he knows and shooting off his mouth in an act of sophomoric rebellion. Most of us did something like this at one time or another and the only reason we care about him is because (a) he's famous and (b) he's uploaded the video.

Furthermore, if he had said the exact same thing but couched it as [for example] a feminist, as opposed to a religious, screed some of the same people attacking him would be praising him for his honesty and integrity.

Nah. He could say "this show is the most sexist garbage I've ever seen. I'm ashamed to be a part of it. Don't watch it", but as long as he's collecting the checks, he's a sanctimonious, hypocritical twit.

I like Sheen's hale-bopp refrence in his statement about the whole thing.


I wonder if he's just tired of doing the show, and rather than quit or break his contract, he is attempting to follow Sheen's lead and get fired/bought out.

Well.. at least Sheen's had a career before the show and his meltdown was fa rmore whacky and fun (i still laugh at the vatican assassin warlocks bit ).

The kid is a dumbass and hypocrite.. he insults the show (and by extension the entire crew and his co-actors) publicly and when the remaining brain cells start working again he realizes he gets paid $350.000 per episode for walking around and remembering a few lines of dialogue so he peddles back and apologizes

The way the show works currently it might not even need him.. he's become a recurring guest star and easily written out.. guess the money's too good to remain true to the statement he was so convinced of a few days ago.
