Twitter and Facebook

I have both, but don't use either of them (or My Space, or Bebo) I got sick of "musicians" asking me to be their friend, and other persons on the internet 'stalking' me

I have both, I'll follow pretty much anyone on Twitter, and I just use it (occasionally) to spew a thought out.

I tend to go on Facebook more. That's where I interact with my friends most.

I'm thinking of starting a Twitter feed to highlight some of the wheels-off things people put on their resumes, but like the good doctor above, haven't been arsed to do it yet.

I've got a folder full of examples.

i.e. "To obtain a professional position that will allow me to exhilarate my skills".

:wtf:

:guffaw:

How 'bout posting them in a thread in this folder? Please, please, please. :)

I use facebook to communicate with my friends, post my photography, and share music and interesting science/history news articles. The arrival of CivWorld has tempted me to tip my toe into facebook's gaming scene, but it's a temptation I've ignored successfully so far.

I also have an account at twitter, but I only post once a week or so -- usually about whatever book I'm reading. I sign in every few days because I follow a dozen or so novelty accounts (Darth Vader, God, etc) and they amuse me. It's also a good way to get breaking news...during the April tornadoes, for instance, I stayed on twitter all day to keep track of the damage. A lot of my friends go to the University of Alabama, and Tuscaloosa was just ripped apart. They posted lots of pictures and videos, some of which made their way to the national news.

I have both, but use them for very different purposes. Fb is for keeping in touch with family who are spread across the country, and with former work colleagues. Twitter is for following news and events from things I'm interested in.

I use Facebook for communication with friends. Twitter is a wonderful tool for networking with B2B colleagues.

Have both, rarely use either. Twitter is kind of cool for following people like The Dalai Lama an Deepak Chopra, they do really inspirational daily tweets and videos. It's a pretty good tool. :D

Primarily, I use FB to keep in touch with family, friends, co-workers, former classmates and old acquaintance (in other words, people I know or have known in real life). I use it to post pics and updates and connect with people. Although I have to admit, even everyday stuff I see on FB gets pretty boring.

My Twitter account started out being my online ”rant” tool, but since most people I know use FB instead of Twitter, I've had very little use for it. Lately, Ive been using Twitter to follow certain personalities, e.g., gay porn stars. ;)

I use twitter (see under my avatar) but not facebook. Use it mostly to do political
(tea party conservative) and photograhy stuff, as well as keeping tabs on science things, weather etc.

I much prefer Twitter as well. I let Facebook contact me these days, meaning I can only be bothered to check it when someone posts to my wall or does something that prompts Facebook to alert me via email. There's just so much noise!

I use both. Facebook for contact with my friends. On Twitter I mostly follow journalits and politicians.
