Out of those two, I'd say the TVH set, though I like the TUC set best for the -A. I feel like TVH is a pretty good modernization of the TMP set (which is my favorite version), though the sleek touchscreen look is kind of disrupted by the fact that the set still has all the crap from TWOK glued to the walls. The TUC set has an interesting combination of tactile and touchscreens, I like the bare metal color scheme and stupid digital clocks, and it's got those little outtriggers for Spock and Uhura so they can work while facing forward, which is a good compromise between the original reasoning behind the Star Trek bridge philosophy (that the captain can see what everyone is doing from his chair) and the filmic desire to actually see actors' faces.

I find the all-white interior and the round Okudagrams of the STIV bridge very appealing, while I don't care for the STV bridge at all. Too much TNG-style beige and I hate every computer display being boxed into a rectangle. The STV bridge was greatly improved in STVI (which I would've voted for if it was an option in this poll).

I didn't like how STV and STVI reused TNG sets without much modification. VI is actually the worse offender, from engineering to 10-forward to the briefing room. So, I'm going with the TMP-IV bridge.

I had to go with TVH set as well. It had the best continuity of the movies. I get what Shatner was trying to do with TFF, with showing a transition of what would become TNG in the future. But I thought they were far enough removed to keep an update version of TMP bridge. Maybe if TFF bridge has been first used for the Enterprise-B in Generations, that would have been a better transition period.

TFF bridge was ok. I didn't mind it except that it was such a jarring change from what I was expecting when I first saw it (expecting to see TVH bridge). TUC was fine too. It used the basic foundation of TFF the bridge so it wasn't as jarring a change but made adaptations, which one would expect since TUC took place several years later.

Definitely the Final Frontier bridge. It was basically the Excelsior bridge from STIII fleshed out into a complete set.

The TVH one was just a redress, with new controls which looked very futuristic at the time but have aged terribly.

I prefer sleek designs, which TFF fit better than TVH, especially with Star Trek. A comfortable, sleek, bridge fits better than the utilitarian design.

Between those two I'd go with TFF, though the bridge from TUC is far superior--possibly my favourite bridge design.

I'd like to have seen more of the TVH bridge set, but I like TFF's sleek modern design a lot. TUC's bridge feels like a retrogressive step backwards to me in a lot of ways even though it looks kind of okay.

I like TMP-WOK-SFS 1701 Bridge set redressed as the 1701-A Bridge set for TVH.

Augh, those obvious cassette tape holders have always distracted me. They could so easily have disguised what they are just by gluing any nurnie over the nubs.

True.
TMP-WOK-SFS Bridge had "minimalist" work stations on the perimeter with colored lights/buttons etc. Grey colored bridge.
TVH Bridge had the "minimalist" work stations of TMP-WOK-SFS now with new touch controls at the work stations that made more sense. Bright white colored bridge.
TFF Bridge had the new perimeter ceiling to floor work stations with the touch controls like TVH. Bright beige colored bridge.
TUC Bridge had TFF perimeter ceiling to floor work stations now with retro style switches, levels, etc replacing the touch controls. Dark black & maroon colored bridge.

Curious, as I thought STVI hid the TNG sets more successfully
I forget, is it TVH or TUC where we get a shot of Scotty grinning in engineering, with TNG-style LCARS panels clearly visible?

Oh and I voted for the TFF bridge. It's a nice bridge. I get why they redressed the TMP-SFS bridge in TVH, but a new bridge helped the 1701-A feel like a new, distinct ship.

Engineering, the obs lounge and the "President's Office" aside, my general feeling is that slightly more effort went into disguising reused TNG sets in STVI than in STV. But I maybe need to rewatch the movie again to be sure :D

That one shot of Scotty standing at Geordi's work station *does* take one out of the moment just a little (maybe they should've changed the colored lights on the warp core to white or another color? And turned up the lights a bit to make it look at least a little bit different to TNG's set?)
