Tv show/film characters paired with the Doctor

Most of the actors/actresses playing the major characters in I, Claudius have also appeared in Doctor Who. The only ones I can think of who didn't were Sian Phillips (Livia) and Patrick Stewart (Sejanus). Not sure about John Castle (Postumus).

Sian Phillips has been in Big Finish, hasn't she?

I wouldn't know. I've never owned or listened to any of the audio adventures. I go by what's on TV or what was made available online for the 50th anniversary.

She appeared in one of the Graceless audios (Iv which came out earlier this year according to tardis.wikia.com) but no mention of her appearing in a Doctor Who audio.

given the range of actors they've had in the audios could be a case of not having a suitable part for her.

But she'll have to do a Doctor Who audio - can't have Livia being one-upped by Cladius can we :)

I'm just listening to the commentary on the Mandragora DVD and wishing there was a crossover with Ezio from Assassin's Creed - I bet it's been done loads on AO3 or something.

I've got this weird image in my head of the 11th Doctor, Amy, & Rory going to the Mirror Universe on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and getting embroiled in some of Intendant Kira's machinations.

Since Titans comes out with 3-inch vinyl figurines for both Doctor Who and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I get to have Buffy be the 3rd Doctor's new companion. Meanwhile, the 12th Doctor & Oz started a band!

I've just thought of another I, Claudius actor who I'm not sure if he's been in any Doctor Who stories: John Rhys-Davies (played Macro, Sejanus' successor as Commander of the Praetorian Guard).

Susan Ivanova and the War Doctor together would have torn the Daleks two new holes and no mistake.

Colin Baker and the A-Team, just to see how Seven's pomposity plays out.

Pertwee at the Knight Foundation, giving a certain AI a leg up, might have been fun to see.

And Servalon and the Master (Ainley) manipulating each other to their detriment as they plot against Tom Baker, as he helps Blake solve some creepy mystery on a quarry like planet.

Tennant teaming up with a dynamic go getter, a genius, and a man from Ireland, to return something terrible to its rightful place behind the door that should never be opened.

Jen gets the wrong impression from the doctor, Moss dismantles the tardis console, and Roy is inseparable from his bucket of chicken. In the end Richmond saves the day and wins a trip in the tardis, the doctor listens to the Cradle of Filth album and becomes a goth, and Jen leaves in a taxi.

It could work.

Eleven lands on Black Sam's Spit to find another Captain Jack, looking for lift. After a swig of rum, promptly spat out, they swagger off in the tardis to the pirate planet why not, but back in tortuga in time for nightfall.
'Best not mention the Tardis eh?' Eleven says
'And have everyone think I'm mad-der? No mate, it was sea turtles all the way'

Or something like that.
