To qualify for this prestigious avatar contest your entries must feature at least one actor over the age of 60 years portraying a character they originally played decades earlier. SF&F are allowed.

Momoko Kochi as Emiko Yamane; Godzilla vs Destoroyah

As this might not be as well-known as the other entries so far, let me tell you a bit about this; Momoko Kochi played Emiko Yamane, the female lead in the original Godzilla in 1954 at the young age of 22. And while several of her co-stars like Akira Takarada or Akihiko Hirata appeared in several more Godzilla movies (always as different characters, too), Kochi did not appear again until 1995's Godzilla vs Destoroyah, in which the titular monster was to die and end the series before the upcoming Hollywood remake, and the plot was to be directly tied to that of the original movie. As such Kochi was brought back as Emiko. She was 63 at this point.

I think it might actually be a record to only reprise a role once after 41 years.

Burr similarly played the reporter Steve Martin in the 1956 US version of the original, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and reprised that role (though without his first name being mentioned this time) in the US version of the first reboot, Godzilla 1984.
