Welcome to the all new TV & Media Avatar Contest!

This weeks theme is Dramas That are Sci-Fi like

Well what are you waiting for? Enter now!

Standard avatar contest rules:

ENTRY #1:

Fallon.gif

Fallon decides on a whim to go ahead and leave with unknown space randos, in the "Dynasty" spin-off series "The Colbys".

The special effects team that worked on Close Encounters of the Third Kind, handled this.

(Note: Image set to delete after one year, to save space on PostImages's end)

ENTRY #2:

(very likely to be my final entry in the thread)

Did you know in 2002 aliens visited "Days of Our Lives"?

Yes, I know, they look like they walked off the set of the cheap porno version of the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" episode "Justice", with green lights, but I assure you they are intelligent alien space travelers, who of course came to Earth to sneak around, pick up random everyday items and marvel at what they could be, pick threw the trash, collect fruit while being amazed at fruit.

But wait, no they're not aliens! Yes, it's worse than that, they're genetically engineer people. Yes, you can create new human beings and grow them in DoOL as long as you are Stefano and have Ralph at your hands. How does that account for the alien ship (which I didn't find a video of)? I don't know. I guess Stefano can make alien ships, too.

Remember: Ralph could brain wash people and once remarked to Stefano, "But Stefano, I can't control the weather. At least..." does a Calculon acting bit, "not yet..."

Century City
Short-lived but really good legal drama with a scifi twist. Set in the near-future, it explored how new scientific developments would create new legal conflicts. Also had a great cast, with Nestor Carbonell, Hector Elizondo, Ioan Gruffudd and Viola Davis, among others.

Picket Fences
This show, while primarily a quirky family/small town drama, featured a lot of weird events that sometimes crossed the line into scifi and the supernatural. This image is from the episode "Away in the Manger", which was actually planned as a crossover with the X-Files episode "Red Museum" before the networks put a stop to an official crossover.
