Okay, I didn't quite feel like doing yet another Halloween theme, especially because I couldn't think of a new twist on it that would prevent from the same old avatars being entered. Instead, I thought I could go back to the well of date-specific media.
Going back thirty years, 1993 had a lot to offer for us enthusiasts of film, TV, comics and other media, so there is a lot to choose from.
Therefore, I'll give each user permission to enter up to five avatars. Only condition, it must be from a work of media (TV, film, comics, literature, hell, let's include music videos, too, if you want) first released between 1 January and 31 December 1993. That includes appropriate SF&F.
But do make sure your entry is safe for work. The work represented does not necessarily need to be safe for work, but your avatar representing it must be. So, if you want, you may enter, say, a Sliver avatar, just choose carefully which image you choose and how you edit/crop it.
Also, as usual, entries must not be bigger than 200x200 pixels and/or 1 Mb data.
