Tuvix: What about the Orchid?

As we all know, Tuvix was the amalgamation of Tuvok, Neelix, and an Orchid.

When Captain Janeway used the Doctor's research to seperate the three of them into Tuvok and Neelix, where did the Orchid go?

Is one of them now part-plant, or are they both carrying half of an Orchid's DNA now?
