With out making any political statements (or the dreaded mods will move this thread some where else) how do you think the major characters of STAR TREK would vote in this showdown between Obama and Mccain.

Meaning, don't tell us why..just who they would vote for. This thread is not for debating the pros and cons of either candidate. Just would be interesting to see who you think who they would vote for.

Sisko would vote McCain

I'd honestly think Sisko would be an Obama supporter, and not because of him being the first black president, but more because of his diplomatic/foreign policies... The rest of the choices seem reasonable, but that one surprised me... Then again, I could be wrong

I don't know. As long as Sisko confined his vote to ideological reasons (which I am not certain he would do unless the tenor in NOLA has changed a lot), I think he might have at least given serious thought to McCain. We've heard him state the importance of work rather than handouts, as well as seen both in simulation and canon reality his willingness to take very tough action against the Dominion and Maquis.

My thought was Sisko is a career military who has shown himself quite capable of making the ugly, unpopular decisions if he felt it was in the best interest of everybody. Who knows? I could be wrong. Sisko hasn't returned any of my phone calls.
