Turning it into...

What whole thing?

I read it and thought it was a candid and honest statement. We all know Roddenberry wasn't perfect, and we all know that Wil Wheaton isn't an enemy of the entire cast and crew.

What did I miss?

What's wrong with calling Gene imperfect? The man certainly had his faults, that doesn't reduce his standing as a legend. He did, after all, approve "Justice" and "Code of Honor."

I don't think you missed anything. I don't think the poster knows what he's talking about.

Jon Gredic and Cyke 101 seem to know what I'm talking about, I think you're the one that's lacking!

There seems to be this move in ST circles that morality is offensive, that no-one is perfect and that no-one should espouse it. Star Trek is/was a morality show. That is what I am talking about.

Hey! Be nice. It was early when i posted that. I was barely awake and probably didn't comprehend what you were trying to get across.

I totally agree with your opinion. I don't see the problem other people have with have a show about morality. It is fiction right? I loved TNG and still do.
