"Turn Left" experience

Theodore Jay Miller

Commodore
Newbie
I went to the airport for a flight, and went through those body scanners they have now. It indicated something on my back, but there was nothing to see or feel there when the guard did a patdown. So, do I have an invisible past-changing giant insect there?

Say...Has anybody seen the poster SandyAlligator? It's almost like all of his posts have been erased from existance... : o

It's a shame, he was always very funny and inciteful, even if he did have this crazy idea that Christopher Eccleston should have been the 9th Doctor  Craziness, can't imagine Who would have made such a succesful return if he'd got the job instead of Hugh Grant...

Steven Moffat the creator of the Sherlock Holmes series said if he were to write for "Who" he would have the story revolve around a baby.

Glad we dodged that bullet

Well they did have a good lead in season bringing back Paul McGann. It would have been terrible to miss that season.

Yeah shame he only did one series before regenerating into Grant.

Is it true Tennant is returning as the Master at christmas? Shame really, he's very good but I can't help thinking he might have made a good Doctor.

Still, can't say I'd want them to get rid of Smith now. Took a while but Sheridan's really proved the doubters wrong. Too young and too female indeed!

of course, Rachel Stevens as Daisy with McGann was the best companion. I'm just glad they neer made them romantic, like they did with Grant's companion. That would've sucked.

Never did get why they had Richard Simmons, playing himself, as the Grant Doctor companion.

yeah, a camp fitness guru was definitely NOT the kind of companion i wanted...

Not for a romantic pairing with the Doctor, anyway.

At least Doc finally got tired of him and dropped him off on Peladon, in that The Three Ranis story. And seriously, wasn't Carol Channing amazing as the Second Rani?

"It may be qwite Intewdimensional, But a TAWDIS is a Giwl's.. Best.. Fwennnnd"

i preferred Dame Judi Dench as the Third Rani. even if she didn't do a lot before regenerating into Keeley Hawes... at last, a hot Rani...

"This is exactly what it would feel like to read the internet if you ever went "Sliding" between dimensions on a regular basis."

The Earth where Firefly ran 7 seasons.
The Earth where CSI ended after 7 seasons.
The Earth where Diablo 3 is already out.

Wibbly-Wobbly indeed.

I don't know. If Moffat were to move from Sherlock and bring Matt Smith with him then they could do wonders for the show. Though I think Smith is contracted for another 13 episodes of that show. Still, wouldn't mind seeing Moffat try his hand on Who. He could have Smith guest-star as the Master, though I imagine he'd play it a bit like Cumberbatch's version. Then there'd be two Smiths acting on the show.

Does anyone ever wonder what Peter Cushing would think of the way the character he created has turned out?

Gotta go now, Battlestar's on. I don't think it's looking good for Baltar tonight. Heard Alexander Siddig has decided to call it a day.

All this talk has me wanting to put in my 3rd doctor DVDs... Good Ol' Alec Guiness, was there ever a better Doctor?
