Tryla Scott is screwed!

Are you kidding? This new time line SAVED Tryla Scott. Now she won't be the youngest captain, so she will not be as important as she was in TimePrime ™. Now the CONSPIRACY bugs won't be interested in her which eventually led to her death.

And....
Just because the hot Enterprise coupling is Spock/Uhura NOW, that doesn't mean they won't break up by the time(line) the events in STV would/may happen, so Uhura/Scotty can be a couple. (I feel like we're reporting on some MTV show).

Maybe she becomes Spock/Uhuras kid.
Yes, in the new timeline, her name will be Tryla Spock. And due to her Vulcan heritage, she will make captain by 23.

But getting back to this movie, remember that Spock was about the same age as Kirk, and he was appointed captain of the Enterprise by Pike before Kirk became captain. (In fact, one of the movie's deleted scenes was Spock's birth, I believe, and since Kirk was born in the film's opening scene, then Spock must be younger than him.)

So, someone with Vulcan/human heritage is entirely capable of becoming captain at a younger age than Kirk.

Of course, all of this speculation depends on the certainty that there is only one person with the last name of Scott living in the 23rd century, and that everyone named Scott in the 24th century is a descendant of that one person.

In NuReality Trek, it isn't unfathomable that a cadet could become captain at 18, so Kirk may not be the youngest captain for long.

I've seen it six times so you'd think I'd remember for sure, but I'm fairly sure that Nero shows up again 25 years after the Kelvin, so that would make Kirk a captain at 25.
