gastrof, do they have a total film package in blu-ray yet? Seems like I heard something about that...
Well, we bought an HDTV format player early -- and first season remastered TOS in HDTV. So now we're kinda steamed and are waiting until blu-ray players get cheap. This does tick me off a bit, since I decided to not even think about buying a blu-ray machine until they stopped making regular DVDs...
Not to prattle on about canon, but I'm not sure Tryla Scott being Scotty and Uhura's child is canon.
Then I nominate you to decide what is canon from now on.Not to prattle on about canon, but I'm not sure Tryla Scott being Scotty and Uhura's child is canon.
She is their granddaughter. I blogged about it. Therefore, it is true.

I accept. Anyone care to second the motion?
She's not. It's just pure fan speculation based on her last name and a hint of a Scotty/Uhura romance in Trek 5.I believe Tryla got the rank via talent and dedication, not through arrogance and luck. I'd pick Tryla Scott over NuKirk any day.
Does every post have to bash the new Kirk?
I certainly did not know that Tryla Scott was Uhura and Scotty's child, weird.
I've just ordered all the ST movies on DVD and I kept wondering if I had seen TFF because I didn't have any memory of it. Now I'm sure I've never seen itIt is also hard for her to be Scotty and Uhura's granddaughter if she's with Spock now.
